A Rare Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse

The heavens are not silent, my friends — Elohim set the sun, moon, and stars for signs and for appointed times (Genesis 1:14), and a blood-red moon has always stirred the hearts of those who watch. When the world gathers to photograph a rare lunar eclipse, the believer remembers that Joel and John both spoke of the moon turning to blood before the great and terrible Day of the LORD (Joel 2:31, Revelation 6:12). Now hear me carefully: not every eclipse is a doomsday, and we are never to set dates or chase every shadow. But we ARE to lift our eyes and discern the season. The One who hung those lights knows exactly when and where each one falls. So look up when the moon runs red — not in fear, but in worship — and let it drive you back to the Word.
