Antisemitism and the 2026 Venice Biennale

Hey Watchmen, So now the art world's got its own antisemitism problem out in the open at the Venice Biennale — same old story wearing new clothes. My friends, this shouldn't shock anyone who's been paying attention. Antisemitism isn't a modern glitch in an otherwise enlightened culture; it's ancient, it's spiritual, and it never really goes away, it just changes venues. From Pharaoh to Haman to Hitler to a gallery wall in Italy — the enemy keeps aiming at the same target because he knows exactly who Elohim's covenant people are. Genesis 12:3 still stands: "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse." That's not poetry, friends — that's a promise with teeth, and nations and institutions test it at their own peril. What gets me is how it always dresses itself up as something respectable — "political critique," "artistic expression," "just asking questions" — the same sleight of hand Yeshua warned us about when He said in Matthew 24 that deception would be the hallmark of the last days, and that many would be led astray without even knowing it. When hatred toward Israel and the Jewish people gets laundered through culture and institutions that claim the moral high ground, that's not progress, that's Zechariah 12:3 playing out in real time — Jerusalem as a heavy stone, and everyone who tries to move it hurts themselves. Venice is just the latest stage for a very old play. Don't get numb to it, and don't let anyone tell you it's unrelated to the Moedim and the promises tied to them — Elohim's faithfulness to Israel is a signpost of His faithfulness to all of us grafted in through Yeshua. Keep your eyes open, keep your hearts tender toward His covenant people, and keep watching — because the world's hostility toward Israel is one of the clearest clocks we've got.
