Barrack: Israel's Syria strike risked military confrontation with Turkey

Scripture doesn't leave us guessing about a coming clash centered on this region — Zechariah 12:2-3 tells us Yah will make Jerusalem "a cup of trembling unto all the people round about" and "a burdensome stone for all people" — and everyone who tries to lift that stone will be cut in pieces, though all the peoples of the earth gather against her. That's exactly the picture forming — nation after nation drawn in, positioning around Jerusalem, whether they mean to or not. I'm not telling you Turkey moves tomorrow. I'm telling you the pieces are being set on the board right in front of your eyes, and Damascus and its neighbors keep coming up because Elohim marked them out long ago.
