Dear Israelis…

Hey Watchmen, "Dear Israelis…" — my friends, when a headline opens like that, it tells you something is stirring in the hearts of the people, whether it's grief, division, or a plea for unity. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm not going to pacify anybody, not the Christians and not my Jewish friends either. But I love Israel, I stand with Israel, and I know this — Yah has not let go of His covenant people, no matter how fractured the conversation gets down there. This is a family in crisis talking to itself, and family talk, even when it's raw, is not the same as abandonment. You see this same pattern in Ezra 9-10, when the remnant returning to the land had to have the hard conversations among themselves — confession, correction, calling each other back to Torah — before they could move forward together. It wasn't comfortable. It wasn't clean. But it was necessary, and Elohim honored the honesty of it. Whatever is being said "dear Israelis" to today — whether it's about the war, the hostages, the government, or the soul of the nation — the watchmen understand that internal reckoning is often what precedes a move of God, not what precedes His judgment. He disciplines those He loves, and He is not finished with Israel. So don't read division as defeat, my friends. Read it as a nation wrestling — like Jacob at the Jabbok — and a nation that wrestles with itself and with Heaven is still in the fight, still reachable, still His. Keep praying for the peace of Jerusalem, keep loving the Jewish people without pacifying anyone, and keep your eyes open. Stay watching, stay ready — the Bridegroom is coming, and the remnant is being refined even now.
