Iran, US respond to Qatari-Pakistani proposal to resume peace talks

Hey Watchmen, Qatar and Pakistan want to broker peace between Iran and America. Notice who's not at the table doing the brokering — it's not Washington, and it's not Tehran. It's two outside parties trying to hold two exhausted sides together long enough to call it a deal. My friends, I've watched enough of these announcements to know the shape of them by now: a proposal gets floated, both capitals "respond," and everybody breathes easier for a news cycle. But go read what's actually coming out of Iran's own streets — the anger at their own leadership for even entertaining a ceasefire before. That's not a government looking for peace. That's a government looking for a pause to reload. And I don't believe our own leadership has the stomach for what real resolution with Iran would actually require. Here's what I want you to see: this is a proposal, not a peace. Scripture is blunt about this pattern — "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them" (1 Thessalonians 5:3)... no wait, friends, I already used that one — so let me give you a fresher word on it. Look at Ezekiel 13:10, where the prophet condemns those who say "Peace" when there is no peace, daubing the wall with untempered mortar. That's what a lot of these announcements are — a coat of whitewash over a wall that's still cracked underneath. Qatar and Pakistan can broker a conversation. They cannot broker repentance, and they cannot broker the removal of hatred from a human heart. Only Yeshua does that work. So don't get lulled by the headline. A "response" to a proposal is not a resolution — it's a data point in a much longer prophetic story that's still being written across Iran, Israel, and the nations circling them.
