Resolution sends ‘a clear message’ against antisemitism

Hey Watchmen, A resolution against antisemitism making headlines is a good thing, and I'll say that plainly — but my friends, a piece of paper from any body, Baptist or otherwise, cannot do what only repentance and truth can do. Ever since October 7th I've said this hatred has intensified tremendously, fueled by rhetoric these young people are chanting without even understanding what it means — "from the river to the sea" — while the real spiritual root of Jeremiah 16, the prophecy of the fishermen and the hunters, is playing out in front of us. The hunters are out in force right now, my friends, and a resolution can name the sickness, but it won't heal it. Here's what I need you to hear, because it's the part nobody wants to say: you can love Israel, you can stand against antisemitism with everything in you, and I do — and still tell the Jewish people, and all of us, that we need to repent. That's not contradiction, that's Torah. Loving a people and calling them to repentance are not opposites; I'll say it to Israel, I'll say it to America, I'll say it to myself. Psalm 122 tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and Genesis 12:3 reminds us Elohim blesses those who bless Abraham's seed — but blessing doesn't mean silence on the truth. Resolutions are wind unless hearts turn back to Yeshua HaMashiach. So watch the rhetoric, watch the hatred rising, but don't stop at watching — pray, and speak truth in love the way Torah calls us to. Stay awake, my friends, and stay ready.
