The Republican Party’s test on antisemitism - opinion

Hey Watchmen, Every generation gets its test, and this one's no different. Reading about the Republican Party wrestling with its own antisemitism problem doesn't surprise me one bit — I've said for years I don't hand my loyalty to any political party, and this is exactly why. A party can wave the Israel flag at a podium and still have voices inside it that traffic in the same old poison. Convictions aren't measured by who you photograph with at AIPAC — they're measured by who you're willing to rebuke in your own house. Torah doesn't let us off that hook. Leviticus 19:15 tells us not to show partiality, not to favor the great or the poor — and that cuts both ways, my friends. It means you don't excuse antisemitism just because the man saying it wears your team's jersey. This isn't a Republican problem or a Democrat problem — it's a human heart problem that's been running since Pharaoh asked "who is the LORD, that I should obey His voice?" Every empire, every party, every movement eventually gets tested on how it treats the seed of Abraham, because that's how it's really being tested on how it treats the Almighty Himself. Genesis 12:3 isn't a suggestion, it's a promise with teeth. And prophecy tells us this pressure doesn't ease up as the age turns — it intensifies, because the enemy knows exactly whose covenant this is and whose Messiah is coming back through Jerusalem's gate. So watch your leaders, watch your parties, watch the rhetoric that gets a pass because it's "on our side." Test everything by the Word, not by the party line. Stay awake, stay rooted, stay ready — the hour is later than it looks.
