Zechariah 12 tells us Jerusalem becomes a burdensome stone, and the nations around her — Lebanon included — get gathered against her. This is part of that gathering. It's not always a headline-grabbing invasion, my friends, sometimes it's three soldiers wounded on a Tuesday, and then three more next month, and the noose just keeps tightening. Isaiah 17 speaks of Damascus becoming a ruinous heap — that whole Syria-Lebanon corridor is under Yahweh's eye, and He is not finished writing that chapter. So don't let the drip-drip nature of these attacks lull you to sleep. Small wounds now, bigger moves later — that's how this has always played out in that region, and Scripture told us it would.
